With the release of Mercalli V6 SAL & CLI for EDIUS Suite – exclusive to EDIUS 11 – developers have pushed performance to a whole new level. For maximum flexibility, the package also includes the Mercalli V6 SAL (Stand-Alone) license.
Fast and Efficient
Mercalli V6 is not only the highest-performing and most powerful software solution for CMOS correction and stabilization. The SAL & CLI version leverages the new architecture of EDIUS 11 in an exceptionally efficient manner.
By utilizing the BAT Server (which is free for EDIUS 11 users), Mercalli communicates natively with the engine. This architecture is significantly more efficient than any conventional plugin solution.
Presets for Common Stabilization Tasks
Following the installation of Mercalli V6 SAL & CLI and the BAT-Server, the EDIUS 11 menu displays new entries for stabilization with Mercalli V6. Two options tailored to frequent optimization tasks are pre-configured during installation:
Stabilize – with Mercalli V6 (CMOS Only) to MP4: Mercalli features a highly effective rolling shutter correction that functions without requiring a zoom into the image. This is ideal for recordings distorted by the "wobble effect" that require specific CMOS correction rather than comprehensive stabilization.
Stabilize – with Mercalli V6 (turbo) to MP4: This second option is suitable for the vast majority of stabilization tasks. It allows for fully automatic CMOS correction and stabilization, saving the result as an MPEG-4 file.
Single Clip and Batch Selection
Whether you are managing a large video archive or need to apply specific CMOS correction and stabilization to all recordings from a day's shoot, Mercalli V6 delivers. In EDIUS 11, these presets can be applied to individual clips or multiple recordings simultaneously.
Full Hardware Support
The performance standards of EDIUS now apply to Mercalli V6 SAL & CLI: the software scales optimally with your hardware. The more powerful your CPU and GPU, the faster the results. The CLI version is designed to make optimal use of the modern EDIUS 11 architecture.
Individually Adaptable to Your Workflow
While the two pre-configured presets are sufficient for many users, Mercalli V6 SAL & CLI can be individually adapted to your specific workflow within EDIUS.
Using the "Add Function" feature, you can create your own menu items in EDIUS. Simply select the desired stabilization method, optionally activate the Picture Enhancer, and save the new preset under your preferred name.
